For those who have not yet been informed by phone, e-mail or Facebook status message… I passed my PhD viva today, alhamdulillah! 
This is how I feel:

Btw, I am not officially a “Dr” until I submit the final copy of my thesis, and my College gives approval… it might take a few months! Not that I’m bothered… all I know is: I passed, alhamdulillah!!!! (yes, the multiple exclamation marks are totally appropriate!)
gess, a viva is the thesis defense… in my case, a 2.5 hour aural examination of my thesis. Yey! Actually, it wasn’t so bad, masha’Allah. I’ve heard of vivas that lasted for five hours! :/
